#MaternityMondays week 28

Hello you lovely lot and welcome to week 28 of #MaternityMondays! Thanks so much to you all for continuing to link up every week, I am loving our little community, celebrating the joys (and sharing the challenges) of pregnancy, life with babies and motherhood in general.

It was my turn to host last week and here were my fave posts from last week!

I 100% related to Love from Clueless Mum’s post Mummy vs Control Freak and actually felt quite relieved to read someone has similar struggles that I do regarding feeling the need to be in control, and how counter productive or stressful that can be as a mummy! Always love a bit of honesty as it reminds me I am not the only one who struggles at times!

I also really related to All the things I used to know’s post A letter to my Little Love about the upcoming arrival of baby no.2. I think all of us who have had more than one child will relate to feeling a little guilty at the way we are changing our precious first born’s life by introducing a sibling but I am sure her little one will love being a big brother as much as my Monkey does.

Finally I had to mention Make, Do and Push’s wonderful home birth story as I just love reading about positive birth experiences. Because I have a bicornuate uterus I had to have 2 c-sections. That’s just the way it is and there is no pointing looking back with sadness as my babies are here safe and well, but in an ideal world I would have much preferred a nice calm water birth. Hannah’s home birth sounds as if it was exactly the experience she hoped it would be and it just made me happy to read.

I had a rather lovely and exciting week last week in more ways than one with lots of fun things happening or in the pipeline… though unfortunately the week has ended with us all hit by colds (again?? and in July???) which is far less fun! Not letting it get me down though and sticking with my new rules that I have created to help left myself out of PND. I am sharing those with you today

Now it is over to you! Please grab our badge and share the linky love by commenting on a few other blog posts, it would be lovely if we could grow a little community to share the highs and lows of motherhood and parenting.

The linky is open Mondays only from 6.30am to midnight.
