#MaternityMondays week 29

Hello you lovely lot and welcome to week 29 of #MaternityMondays! Thanks so much to you all for continuing to link up every week, I am loving our little community, celebrating the joys (and sharing the challenges) of pregnancy, life with babies and motherhood in general.

It was the lovely Emma’s turn to host last week and here were her fave posts:

“I really liked Tin Box Traveller‘s ideas on eating alfresco with a toddler and I will definitely be using some of these ideas over the summer. It is true that food is somehow different outside so I will be sneaking in some healthy snacks in our picnic.

It was national breastfeeding week so there were quite a few breastfeeding posts. One of my favourites was from Family Fever who showed that with good support, you really can do it. I just wish every health authority had such good workers.

As it was a week to celebrate breastfeeding, I would also like to mention Make Do and Push whose beautiful boy was diagnosed with tongue-tie and had the procedure performed in one day. It proves that if you think your baby has tongue-tie or that they are not feeding quite right, get advice immediately.

Last but not least, I feel Maidenhead Mum needs some sort of award or at least support from our #MaternityMondays community. She has placenta praevia and last week, was a week into a FIVE WEEK stay on the maternity ward. She had a young child at home and she must be so fed up. Please spread the love. You can tweet her here.”

Now it is over to you! Please grab our badge and share the linky love by commenting on a few other blog posts, it would be lovely if we could grow a little community to share the highs and lows of motherhood and parenting.

The linky is open Mondays only from 6.30am to midnight.

Don’t forget to tweet your link using #MaternityMondays, and if you tag us in we will retweet, we are @EmmaLander2 and @BecomingaSAHM

  1. Thanks for your linky and so sorry to only just be returning for my linky reads. I’m really trying to do them on the day that I join, and also get badged up too. Have a lovely week.

National Breastfeeding Week was fab, wasn’t it. I wrote a round up about it. Hope more women get the support they need with feeding their infant, like Family Fever did.

Thanks for taking the time to write something. I love comments and read every one xx
