#MaternityMondays week 31

Hello you lovely lot and welcome to week 31 of #MaternityMondays! Thanks so much to you all for continuing to link up every week, and welcome to our lovely new linkers! I love our little community, celebrating the joys (and sharing the challenges) of pregnancy, life with babies and motherhood in general and lovely to see it grow too!

We had another bumper week last week, yay, with some really great reads as always! It was the lovely Emma’s turn to host so here were her faves.

“Last week, Run, Jump, Scrap really made me laugh with her post about ten things she wish she hadn’t. It really resonated with me being on our second child. Thankfully ag is not so fussed on a dummy. Really good read.

Next up was Toni from Gym Bunny Mummy who I had the pleasure of meeting yesterday at a baking masterclass and she is lovely. Her post last week was 20 things not to say to a parent who has a child with autism. I honestly think this can be applied to the parent of any child who is different from the ‘norm’ especially conditions which you can’t see. People wrongly think that you need to visualise a special need for it to be real. It makes them feel better, I think, that our children look ‘normal’ and that this somehow is better. As any parent with a child with additional needs knows, this is obviously not the case.

Lastly, I had to give a big shout out to Kate from Family Fever who opened up that she is struggling a bit. As new parents, I think we have all been there to some extent but the fact that Kate shared her feelings must help a lot of women out there. Quite often I have counted the hours until bedtime because the day has seemed so long. I really hope Kate has had a bit of support this week.”

We have come home from a lovely holiday to a bit of chaos here as we are having a garage conversion done and it is all a bit bonkers! We are selling a few bits on ebay that may be of interest to any mums to be out there – an Evo-Lunafix lie flat car seat and a Tiffany Rose Maternity Dress, if you fancy a looky 🙂

this week I am linking up a post about my gorgeous baby girl who is crawling, yay! 🙂

Now it is over to you! Please grab our badge and share the linky love by commenting on a few other blog posts, it would be lovely if we could grow a little community to share the highs and lows of motherhood and parenting.

The linky is open Mondays only from 6.30am to midnight.
