Monkey & Daddy go to the zoo

Life in our house has been all change this last week with the arrival of our Little Miss, but we have also been trying to keep things fun for Monkey. We have kept his routine as much as possible. On Monday he went to rhyme time as usual with Nanny & Pops. On Tuesday he normally goes to Tumble Tots with Daddy but being half term this week it wasn’t on. We had a think about what they could do instead and decided Daddy and Monkey should go to the zoo!

We are really lucky that we have a great, fairly small, Zoo Park not too far away from us, called Hamerton Zoo Park. We have a season ticket this year and have been a few times and love it every time we go.

The sun was out, it was a gorgeous autumn day and Monkey and Daddy just had a lovely day out together while Little Miss and I had a nice chilled day at home.

They saw Monkeys and Tigers (regular readers will know how much Monkey loves The Tiger who Came to Tea, so he loved seeing the big Tiger) and had lots of fun on the play park.

Just a few shots of the lovely day they had together πŸ™‚

When looking back through Daddy’s photos I was very confused by this next shot as couldn’t see any animals in it… but apparently I was wrong and according to Monkey this huge log is in fact the one and only Stick Man (from the book)! Silly Mummy for not realising πŸ˜‰

  1. It’s great that Monkey and Daddy still managed to get out and have fun even though Tumble Tots wasn’t on. Monkey’s imagination with stick man the log is brilliant. Thanks for linking up to Country Kids.

Thanks for taking the time to write something. I love comments and read every one xx
