No problem, I was so confused by them when I first saw them! A linky is a fab way for bloggers to share their posts, usually on a theme. For example, today I am linking up a post about our ‘summer holiday’ over at Clarina’s Contemplations blog linky about ‘savouring the season.’
If you want yo join in, you visit the linky page (clicking on the badges above should take you to their recent linky post). At the end of their post will usually be a few rules and then a ‘click to enter’ or ‘add your link’ button. If you click on that you will be taken to a form where you fill in the url of a post on your blog, what you want to call it and sometimes there will be place to use one of your images as a thumbnail, and then you can enter your link!
To get the most out of linkys I find it is best to add your post early on on the day the linky opens. Some linkys are open for several days, but I find more people read your post if you link up earlier on. Also, make sure you visit other people’s posts and comment on those that appeal to you. Linkys are all about sharing the bloggy love! Hope this helps!! Look forward to seeing you at a linky soon 🙂
