LM’s hairstyles at 8 mths

Our Little Miss’s hair is growing thick and fast these days but it is still wispy baby hair and is at that real in-between length where it is something and nothing. Hubs and I have slight disagreements over how we should “style” her hair (I use that term in the loosest possible sense – i.e. brush it or not!) so just for a bit of fun I thought I would share some of my hair styling experiments.

Hubs says some of them are plain mean (ahem the centre parting one) but I think she looks gorgeous in all of them 🙂

LM hair 1

Rough towel dried & unbrushed/Messy vs Cute side parting (the way it naturally goes)

LM hair 2

Brushed centre parting/ Brushed forwards (though it doesn’t stay that way and ends up messy)

What do you think?

I’ve also had a try with a girly bow – I am not girly at all so wasn’t sure about this. Of course, she looks gorgeous, but I am not sure exactly where it is meant to go or how to keep it on! What a cutie though eh?

  1. Oh the bow is only beautiful on her! My lil lady has all her hair to the back, although you can just about see it, she already loves stroking it! No idea how you keep the hairbands on, if u find out let me know!

  2. I agree that she is gorgeous in all of the photos but not sure the centre parting really suits her! She does have beautiful hair though and it won’t be long before it grows long enough to be put up in cute little bunches 🙂

  3. Aww so cute! She almost has more hair than my toddler! I used to despair at what daddy would do to our eldest’s hair after bath when it was about that length. There was no getting round the fact that he kept giving her a ‘Hitler’. It was not good.

  4. she’s so cute and it’s amazing how different she looks with different hairstyles. Agree that the centre parting is a bit odd, and the first electric hair is hilarious!
You have a lovely little girl

  5. She is so cute, I love all the photos. Little E has a natural side parting and I brought a whole host of headbands but Ethan takes them off of her head! I do think our little ladies will have to go through awkward hair whilst it grows long enough to pull back. Love this post.

Thanks for linking up with Small Steps Amazing Achievements :0)
