We had another busy weekend in the garden last weekend, finishing off the clearance side of Operation Garden Renovation. More to come on that later in the week but what we were left with was a garden full of mud, glorious mud.
Monkey has been in his element out there, just having a whale of a time with the simplest of pleasures, playing in the mud. I’ll keep it short and sweet as the pictures say it all!
Bearing in mind this was on Sunday, the day after the scary no-breathing incident, he clearly suffered no after-effects! Lovely to see him having so much fun after such an ordeal too!
Clearly no after effects! Lovely photos – kids do love mud! X
Thanks, he really is fine and just loves being out there at the moment! xx
At least it wasn’t yukky wet mud though! Looks like you could leave the garden like that and at least one of you would be perfectly happy! Glad to see he recovered from his ordeal so quickly. X
Oh god no, I could not cope with that mess haha! Thank you, he loves it out there and it is weird, that being a pile of mud, it actually looks a lot better than it did before!! xx
Lovely to see him so hale and hearty! :). I used to love playing in the mud when I was little – sadly our courtyard doesn’t really allow for much of that!
Ah that’s a shame, playing in the mud provides a lot of fun! xx
I’m glad Monkey is ok, he looks in his element playing in the garden! Children and mud = Fun Messy Play, it’s a great sensory experience for them and a lovely way to explore nature and find lots of interesting bugs. Thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.
Thank you, he absolutely loves it out there and is doing fine which is fab 🙂 xx
my son loves to sit on dirt too! Today he just sat on the pavement while looking at some stone in the middle of the high street. Adorable actually just like your son =)

Aw bless him he looks like is having a great time. We really need to sort out our garden in time for summer, it looks terrible at the moment. Good luck with yours. Xx
He really did enjoy himself! Ah I know that feeling, good luck with yours too! xx
Kids can have so much fun in the garden and in mud especially, it looks like he did. We were doing the same in our garden last weekend and my kids were playing in the mud hunting for worms.
