Pre-Christmas Celebrations

I feel I have been neglecting the blog quite a bit lately but there hs just been a lot going on in the run up to Christmas, as I am sure you can imagine! It is only set to get busier over the next few days so this is my last post for a bit while I enjoy Christmas with my family and will be back again next week at some point.

In the meantime though we have been having a lovely time with friends and family. Hubs has now finished work, although he is still checking in remotely he is not going into the office again until after Christmas, meaning we get to spend some time as a family. I have been really looking forward to this day as the past few weeks have been difficult and it is nice to have some help with the kiddies.

Friday night I actually got an evening off! Just for a quick meal with my girls at a restaurant down the road but it was really really fun and did me the world of good to get away for a few hours and just be me with my friends.

Then on Sunday we had a lovely pre-Christmas roast with my family. This year my brothers are spending Christmas predominantly with their partners families and my step-dad is working Christmas day so we are having a pretty quiet Christmas and to make up for it my parents had us all over for a roast and catch up on Sunday. It was so much fun, Monkey adores all his uncles and aunts and absolute whale of a time. The food was delicious and Little Miss had lots of cuddles from family.

It really was a lovely way to kick off our festive period.

So that’s me signing off for a week, but I would like to say

Christmas

and a huge thank you for reading and for your support over the last year, I hugely appreciate it!

Have a wonderful Christmas from Hubs, Monkey, Little Miss and I! xx
